My animation project was probably the hardest assignment I had to complete this year. The story behind it was that I fall asleep i n Tampa and have a dream with an airplane in it. Then I wake up magically at home in Connecticut. For about the first 60 clips of the video, I had to paint on each and every flower, over and over again. I had to try to replicate the flowers, as they were in the previous clip, and add onto the scene which was extremely tedious. The middle of my animation, I started with some rotoscopy, but then copied and pasted aniamtions and moved them across the screen to represent my dream. It was very difficult to keep track of my layers and to figure out how to copy and paste animations while keeping the background intact. In the end of my animation, I had to ‘return’ to reality, so I split my animation into 2 different parts, so figureing out how to execute that was very difficult. This project probably took me about 14 hours total, but I’m proud of the result.

I used Photoshop for the animation and Garage Band for the audio. In my video, I had an acoustic guitar riff playing throughout the majority of my animation, and added a harp chord that I got from the student server's collection of audios to when I was falling asleep. then in the dream sequence section of my animation, I used 'Downtown Scene Beat 01" from the Garage Band loop pack, as well as adding on "Entranced Layers 02". I also added an audio of an airplane in flight when the plane flies by, and a bird chirping audio for when the bird fly by, both used from the student server pack. I then cut the downtown beat, but kept the entranced going for a little bit, while the harp from the student server played again as I 'woke' up from my dream. I ended my animation off with chirping bird from the student server pack.
